Order Terms
Simple terms for made-to-order and bespoke baking, written to be clear before you book.
Orders
An enquiry does not reserve a date. Your order is confirmed only when Hawthorn & Apple accepts it and any required deposit or payment has been received.
Bespoke & personalised orders
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a bespoke or personalised booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 72 hours before collection.
Bespoke orders cancelled at least 7 days before collection may be eligible for a refund of amounts paid above the deposit. Within 7 days, further amounts may be non-refundable where ingredients, materials, preparation or other costs have already been committed. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Other orders & cancellations
For non-bespoke orders, please give at least 72 hours’ notice of cancellation. Where preparation or committed costs mean a full refund is not appropriate, we will explain this fairly and in accordance with your statutory rights.
Payment
Payment may be made by bank transfer or secure card/payment link. Payment instructions are provided privately when an order is confirmed.
Collection
Hawthorn & Apple is currently collection only. Collection is offered either within a published collection window or at a pre-arranged appointment. Orders must be collected within the confirmed time. Collection outside that time cannot be guaranteed.
After collection, the customer is responsible for safe transport, handling and storage in accordance with any instructions provided.
Handmade products
Because our products are handmade and seasonal, small variations in appearance are natural. Any material ingredient or recipe change will be reflected in the food information supplied where required.
Allergies
Please tell us about allergies or intolerances before ordering and review our Allergen Information. We confirm current information from our ingredient and recipe records rather than guess.
Problems with an order
Please contact us promptly at hello@hawthornandapple.co.uk with your order details so we can investigate. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
